How To Avoid Ruining Your Life In Your 20's

With social media, it's imperative that kids act well, and don't do things that are really out there and crazy.  Don't take selfies of drunken parties and post them

Be careful of your social media resume, and understand, it's there forever.  People can dig up things you say about people you like, or dislike, and swear words.

What you say in private, you need to make sure that no one is recording it.

You need to be very careful who you hang around with, and your need to tell everyone your family story and your history.

Your history and private life is your right to keep private.  Your mistakes should be yours to make, and not something the whole world knows about.  Keep all that you can off social media and instagram

Make a photo album of your life, not a virtual photo album

Try not to judge and make judgments of others, because you don't like being judged.

You need to not seek fame, or huge fortune, because that comes with more downsides than you know, you need to find how who you are and where you belong.  Don't compare yourself to anyone.

Do not bully, even if you were bullied,  you need to heal from old pain, so you don't carry it around.

It's not a good goal to think that the world owes you, it's more important and a more successful life when you learn how to give, and be in a kind place.

Spend as little time on social media as possible, use it for short contacts, and news, and then go live your life.

Whatever your interests are, the less time on social media, the better.

Here is an amazing article (it's religious) but also very helpful about how young people do in fact ruin their lives in their 20's and have very backwards expectations.

When we were young, way before social media, we could make mistakes that no one saw, and we had to learn to forgive ourselves for them.  We all make massive mistakes, it's part of life.

If your parents were strict, the first thing you want to do as an adult, is break out of rules and their control, causing you to make really bad decisions.  So be careful, and be good to yourself, and try to keep a clean social media resume, so it does not haunt you all through your life.
